A lightly roasted Ethiopian coffee with fruity and juicy notes
This Grade 1 washed coffee comes from the Banko Gotiti wet mill in Kochere district, in Ethiopia’s renowned Yirgacheffe region. Managed by Alemu Bukato, the station processes cherries delivered by around 650 local smallholder farmers.
Known for its outstanding cup quality, it highlights the careful work carried out at the washing station as well as the commitment of the farming community that supplies it.
Gotiti village, in Kochere district near Yirgacheffe, is part of one of Ethiopia’s most renowned coffee regions. High altitude, fertile soils, and local heirloom varieties contribute to coffees known for their bright citrus acidity and delicate floral notes.
After harvest, cherries are sorted, pulped, fermented for 36–48 hours, washed, and dried on raised beds before final milling and export.
